Sangkhla Buri is an Amphur in Kanchanaburi which has the famous longest wooden bridge in Thailand built by the Mon. From Bangkok to Sankhla Buri is approximately 5 hours. I and my friends reach the village in the early morning, just in time to catch the rising sun.

Mon villages are along the 2 sides of the river, where you can walk around and observe their ways of living closely. The Mons are recognized by the tanaka powder on the faces and being the experts of carrying stuffs on their heads.
