Bangkok’s To Die For Bar & Restaurant…Literally

To Die For Restaurant

If you like savvy and hip, then you need    to check out To Die For Restaurant. Not  only is the food to die for, but so is this  secluded restaurant offers a chillaxin  indoor and outdoor enchanted setting.

Buried in the throws of Bangkok ‘s busy  upscale Thonglor neighborhood, To Die  For Restaurant is located in bottom of  H1 Place Soi Thonglor, Sukhumvit 55.

Whether if you’re traveling solo or with a  group, this restaurant easily  accommodates both. Weeknights is an  optimal time to selfishly indulge in the  outdoor serenity and have first choice of  premier seating.

How to get there?

It’s not an easy find – and not visible from the Soi Thonglor. It’s tucked away from the noise of the street and you have to walk through a five-minute mini-maze of buildings with cool window attractions.

It’s not walking distance from the BTS. I highly suggest taking the BTS to Thonglor Station, then hail a cab to take you to restaurant.

What I Swear By…

Boutique –A minimalist, savvy contemporary gallery of glass lighting that adds a sultry sleek cozy setting at night. Oversized cushiony outdoor sectional sofas makes you feel totally at home. Décor is a colorful palette and textures of jewel-tone colors.

Ambiance – If you sit outside, take off your shoes (just remember not to point your feet at your servers), and sit back and lounge. Great position to look up at the stars while your hear the surrounding water whisk you into your food coma.

Service  – As always, timely and served with a smile.

Food – the online menu doesn’t represent all of the eclectic Thai fusion bites this restaurant serves. I ordered a series of 5-6 appetizers, which was a perfect chance to sample and enjoy to the fullest.

Travel is my obsession. I consider myself budget-travel-chic which is how invented my alter-ego, TheTripDiva. Boutique travel started off as my travel pre-requisite many years ago. When I traveled to Bangkok for the first time I could not believe the umpteen choices that are available and affordable. My blog features boutique choices of travel in Bangkok, steering people away from the cookie cutter ways of travel. Most people have the misconception that it's expensive or for the elite, but I'm hear to validate the truth - that it's not! You can have a million dollar experience on a budget and, at the same time, get great value for your money.
